Zombie YG581™ has an excitation peak at 560 nm and an emission peak at 581 nm. Zombie YG581™ is a polar amine reactive fluorescent dye that is impermeant to live cells, but permeant to cells with compromised membranes. Thus, it can be used to assess live vs. dead status of mammalian cells. Zombie YG 581 is spectrally identical to Spark YG 581 and therefore can be consolidated into the same dump channel.
